My mixed media paintings are reinventions. Reintroductions of materials, forms, memories, beginnings. I believe all things are connected. Ultimately, one thing is related to another; wax, wood, metal, man. The materials all emanating from the eternal source, earth. Whether the materials metamorphose into a new form by nature, or by hand, its essence still resonates. I find delight and strength in visually manifesting the harmony of these objects, negating the disparity, while paralleling a memory. A construction of connection.
